VICKREY provided drainage, roadway, and utility design engineering services. The drainage portion included the design of approximately 3,200 lf of three 10’x9’ multiple box culverts. The drainage was designed to serve the future needs of the airport and its tenants by converting the Salado Creek tributary’s open channel to a storm sewer system, which reduced the required drainage easement width. The drainage area to the culverts encompassed more than 700 acres with a 100-year ultimate of over 3,400 cfs.
