VICKREY provided full-time construction observation services for this San Antonio Water System’s (SAWS) project. The major sewer pipeline links far west and southern San Antonio to the Dos Rios Water Recycle Center. The project was constructed in six segments at a cost of $124M. VICKREY provided construction inspection services for segments 2, 4, and 6 simultaneously during the three years required to complete construction of the outfall. These segments included large diameter PVC and HOBAS pipe (18” to 96”) with four inverted siphons, special deep trench shoring and tunnel boring operations.
