VICKREY provided boundary and topographic surveying, design, platting and construction phase services for this 74-acre, 408-lot single family residential project on the west side of San Antonio. The project includes 12,500 linear feet of new Collector and Local A streets, 15,300 feet of 8 and 12-inch water lines within the SAWS District Special Project (formerly BexarMet) service area, and 12,900 linear feet of 8 and 10-inch sanitary sewer main within SAWS' service area. Very flat grades on the site made design of streets and grading a challenge. An existing drainage channel downstream of the site was improved to provide capacity for the ultimate developed stormwater runoff from the project.
