VICKREY has extensive experience supporting general park improvement projects, including parking lots, trails, trail heads, pedestrian bridges, playgrounds, sports and recreation fields, restrooms, nature parks, and sidewalks. Our facility design and construction experience also includes public facilities such as concession stands and nature centers. We have LEED® AP Engineers on staff who can incorporate sustainable designs that maintain natural habitats, reduce fresh water consumption, prevent soil erosion, restore the natural harmony of waterways, protect surrounding property and wildlife, and preserve trees.

We understand the Proposition 3 Property Acquisition Process and the City of San Antonio’s Planning and Design Guidelines for Creek Based Greenways. In addition, we have experience working with the City of Austin, City of San Marcos, City of New Braunfels, and City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Departments and the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. We have also worked with the Land Acquisition Team, Conservation Advisory Board, San Antonio River Authority, and Bexar Land Trust.
